Ottawa is the nation's capital. On sunny days the mandarins can be seen sauntering along the streets and in winter they skate to work along the 7.8-kilometre long Rideau Canal Skateway.
Focaccia style pizzas have no sauce. The round, flat bread (focaccia) is topped with oils, grilled vegetables and other toppings and can be found in many gourmet pizzerias. This style of pizza predates the introduction of tomatoes into Europe. You cannot make tomato sauce without tomatoes. N'est-ce pas. Most mandarins speak French.
The quest is on to find all the focaccia restaurants in Ottawa.
